"An early work in William Shakespeare’s canon, Love’s Labor’s Lost is a biting exploration of when expectations meet reality. When a self-agrandizing king and his court swear off love, they are shaken by the arrival of a powerful woman and her entourage. This challenge to their short-sighted goals and prejudices drives them to comical extremes as they attempt to both keep their oath, and fulfill their hearts’ desires. Through sharp language and absurd humor, this show dives into what we expect from ourselves and others, what makes love worth winning, and what we find when we stop looking for what we think we want. A blistering 75-minutes of comedy, full of hijinks & love that you will not want to miss!"
